The night Seoul crowned its newest fashion queen was also the night two hearts broke without warning. Inside the penthouse suite of K-House, the city glittered beneath Jennie Kim's heels. her smile precise - everything about her immaculate except the tremor in her voice when she whispered, "Tell me it's not true." Lisa didn't answer. She stood by the window, shoulders soaked from the rain, eyes carrying a kind of silence that begged to be believed. "It wasn't what you think," she said finally, low and breaking. "Jennie, please-" "Don't." Jennie's voice cut through the room like a blade. "You think I'll stand here and pretend you didn't lie to me? That you didn't use me to get ahead?" Lisa's jaw clenched. "You really think so little of me." "I think exactly what you showed me." Jennie's words were cruel, but her fingers trembled as they gripped the wine glass. "You disappeared in the middle of my show, Lisa. You knew how much tonight meant. And you were with her." Lisa stepped forward. "She's a client, Jennie! I told you-" "Enough!" The glass shattered against the floor. Wine bled into the marble like spilled blood. Lisa froze. For a heartbeat, there was only the sound of rain and Jennie's ragged breathing. Then came the whisper, soft but fatal: "Leave. Tonight. I don't want to see you again." Lisa's throat closed. "You don't mean that." Jennie met her eyes - the same eyes she'd once kissed beneath studio lights, the same eyes she used to call home - and said it anyway. "I do." For a moment, neither moved. Then Lisa picked up her coat, silent tears caught in the reflection of the window, and walked toward the door. She stopped once, hand on the handle. "If I leave now," she said, "I won't come back." Jennie didn't answer. Pride was louder than love. The door closed. ⸻ Seven years later, she'll see those eyes again. And everything she buried will rise to the surface.

✦ LISA MANOBAN Creative Director. Controlled Chaos. The one who left first - or maybe just the one who didn't beg to stay. Black suit. Wristwatch sharp enough to draw blood. Her hair tied back, like she doesn't have time for softness anymore. There's something about Lisa now - more composed, more ruthless, more... unreadable. Because Lisa learned the hard way: love that isn't protected, is taken. And she's not in the business of losing anymore. ✦ JENNIE RUBY JANE Global Brand Ambassador. Perfect Fiancée. The one who stayed - and kept waiting. Jennie knows how to walk into a room and make silence flirt with her. Her love story with Lisa wasn't soft. It was messy. Public, then private, then gone. No closure. Just distance. Just silence. The kind that becomes part of your bloodstream. She tells herself she's over it. That seeing Lisa again doesn't mean anything. But then Lisa walks in - cold, unreadable - And Jennie forgets how to smile without pain in her teeth. Because she never stopped wanting the one person who taught her how to want more.

"And the third reason?" Lisa asked as she rested her hands on Jennie's hips. Jennie laughed, her shoulders were shaking. The sound of it echoed across Lisa's place, making the two cats on the top of the stairs stirred and craned their necks to get a better view of a laughing Jennie. It was a beautiful sight. "Do you want me to show it to you or would you rather I'll tell you a story?" Jennie asked playfully. Lisa contemplated for a moment. She was absentmindedly chewing the walls of her mouth. "How about we make a deal?" she asked. "Tell me a story, and if it's a good enough story, I will show you something. What say you, Jennie Kim?" Jennie raised a brow and asked, "Why do I feel like you're patronizing me the way you're saying my name right now?" "So, it's not a deal then?" Lisa replied, looking smug. But a shadow of a smirk was hinting on the corner of her mouth. "Fine. Deal," Jennie said.

NOT MY STORY. Basically Camila and Lauren have never met. Aged 20 they're both at University in Miami with their own lives, their own friends and their own problems. Lauren wants a change and Camila just wants control. This does jump about a bit at first to build up the story, but it does settle down. Please, if you've got the time, give it a read and let me know what you think. Remake of a Sophie and Sian story by yorkie1988
