Colton needed time. A pack mate has been added to the pack, essentially taking his place, and also mates and impregnates the female wolf he has had a crush on since grade school. Everyone acts as if they need to walk on eggshells around him because they don't know what made him leave. Was it them? If not, then what? A brother who adores him, but he can't be around because his sister thinks he and his pack are monsters. The sister, though, still hangs out with the pack, but despises them all. The thoughts, they take over his mind, invading every single nook inside his head. They make him doubt ever coming back, and ever leaving in the first place. The supernatural creature that seems to have followed him home to Cresent Falls wants to claim the pack as his own, and Colton would do anything to help his pack, but will he have them behind him, supporting him, when all of them doubt him? How will he save them, if they don't want him to save them? Colton has always wondered things, but right now, he is wondering why he ever decided to Come Home.
