How far would you go to bring back the ones you love? How much would you sacrifice just to have a chance to see them again? A new era has dawned for the Pokemon World. With all of the significant threats finally vanquished, Geek and Volt's time as the primary heroes of the world have come to a close. All there is left now is to do the one thing they're best at: Explore. But a warning from the future soon will upset their view on their lives, and they'll realize that the famous phrase spoken about people like them may very well be true: You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. (This is the fourth book in a series, my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers series. There is a collection I have made that includes the previous stories if you are interested in reading them. Mind you, they were written quite some time ago, so the quality is certainly lacking, but the characters and story are still important to understand certain bits in this one.)

Due to the lie she was exiled from the town including all the other pure and part ghost type Pokémon, and she wants revenge in order to take back her home. However, Static has far more sinister ideas than even a ghost type can handle.

He runs into Darkrai's territory which is forbidden for danger. Surprisingly Darkrai doesn't want to kill him for trespassing on his land, instead he adopts him and trains him to become stronger to get revenge on the ones that hurt him. By spying on Poketown's most dangerous criminal, Tudi, he soon realizes that being an outlaw looks way more fun than being a crime stopper. All they have to be aware of is for the good guys always trying to catch them but what is he worried about if he's the fastest Pokémon. Lightning tries to convince him that being a criminal is bad news. Turbo doesn't believe her as he becomes a criminal anyways. Since Turbo was once part of the Starter Squad, he knows all their flaws which is bad news to the good guys.
