THIS BOOK TAKES PLACE AFTER 'BLOG OF A TEENAGE SUPERHERO'. You don't have to read that book first to understand the events that unfold in this one, but this story will spoil all the major plot twists in BoaTS. *** What makes a supervillain? After escaping prison, ex-supervillain Masquerade is on the run from the city he used to love. But the past, in the form of a boy he hurt and a superhero who saved him, won't let him go. He thinks if he joins the organization that wants to destroy "mutated monsters" like himself and the supers he used to terrorize, then maybe he can be made human again. Flawed logic, sure, but Masquerade would do anything to escape the person he's become. But when this organization takes their agenda a step too far, resulting in a tragedy far too close, Masquerade has got to choose: to be the person he's learned to be, or to fight back. *** COMPLETE

"Answer me one thing, Relapse. Please." He gives me a small nod, so I take a deep breath. "Why are you a villian?" I ask. He looks off at the city, the lights becoming fireflys in the darkness. Then he turns back to me staring at me silently, his mouth drawn in a straight line. "Why are you a villain?" I repeat, his blue-gray eyes hold a brewing storm. "Because I have no reason to be a hero." _________________________________________________ My world is far from ordinary. It may sound cliché, but it's true. Normalcy was thrown out the window since our city has living, breathing superheroes. They protect us from the wide range of threats that jeopardize the safety of Crystal City. And yes, they do wear spandex and have stupid catchphrases, but they also do things that the comic books like to avoid. Which seems great, unless you're the very thing they are protecting against. Being the bad guy is cool and all, stealing candy from babies and robbing banks and all that, but it's not all it's cracked up to be either. I'm Lyrah Hodges, and as a part-time supervillian, I know this better than anyone.

"Great power comes with great..." I raised my eyebrows at Guardian, looking his skin-tight suit up and down. "Urges to wear spandex, apparently." "Are you using altered famous superhero comic book references to insult me?" he asked incredulously. I snorted. "You bet your fucking ass, I am." *** Crown City has all the typical big-city flare. There's a McDonald's on every corner, enough carbon emissions to end life as we know it, and a new supervillain trying to take over right before finals week. For Tessa Kingston, Supers are nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, Tessa likes to pretend that Supers don't even exist at all. Though Tessa isn't exactly shy with her not-so-popular thoughts on Crown City's resident vigilante, Guardian, he seems to have taken a liking to the annoyed teenager. Well, he and his buddies have, that is - buddies meaning two supervillains dressed in Walmart Star Wars masks. Crown City has always been a center for mayhem and superpowers, but when strange things start happening too often to be coincidences, Tessa finds herself in the middle of a fight she didn't start but she sure as hell was going to end. Villains torment her. Heroes try to save her. Tessa just wants to pass Supers 101. In a world full of Supers, it's up to normal-teenager Tessa Kingston to save her city. A typical tagline she's well-aware of, of course. As Tessa prepares to show these Super-fools they messed with the wrong girl, she just has one condition: There's no way she's wearing spandex. *** BOOK #1 OF THE "SUPERHEROES SUCK" DUOLOGY Featured on the Wattpad Adventure, Action, Superhero, and Humour profiles! WARNING: Contains mild swearing, cliffhangers, plot twists, and enough sarcasm to last a lifetime.

First Book In The 'One-Million Honey Kisses' Series. ○♡○♡○♡○♡○♡○ When the suicidal vocalist of a band gets caught up in a corrupted game of cat-and-mouse with a sociopath, the fine line separating morality and sanity begins to blur. Juggling fame and seemingly permanent emotional issues doesn't prove to be the easiest, so it's an unspoken fact that Tyler has no time for romance. That is, until the walking hurricane of a girl named Jenna Black introduces herself into Tyler's life, and he slowly begins to realize that she's the perfect recipe for disaster. Jenna's the full package: intelligent, harsh, and dangerously unstable. Almost everybody with an ounce of sanity knows to steer clear from her destructive nature. Unfortunately for Tyler, she also happens to be the same girl that's captivated him from the first word. Soon, he's faced with the choice that could quite possibly end his own life. When you're terrified of the girl that you've started to fall for, do you run and hide, or do you finally confront all of your fears at once? When innocence in the face of chaos meets chaos in the face of innocence, destruction is bound to happen. ~~~ May Winner of Hidden Ge-ms Monthly Award. The Kidd In Black is just your average ordinary teenage super-powered minion working his way up the ranks of the Star City Crime Syndicate. One of many street-level "Vils" putting work, fighting the bad fight against the So-called Hero's from the Hall, until he can take his shot at a top spot in the Syndicate. In the aftermath of what becomes known as the "Dust Up" the entire underworld of Star City is flipped upside down and twisted around. And everyone in the Star City Crime Syndicate is fighting a battle that no one knows anything about ...most especially it's new defacto boss, the dreaded Dragon Lady. Now Kidd, in order to prove his loyalty to the new regime, has been ordered on a deadly covert mission to infiltrate ...High School. And no sooner then he immerses himself on the mission, to "Ninja the crap out" of High School do things go sideways. The lines between good and bad become blurred so badly that no one knows where they stand ...or for what anymore. Especially The Kidd, who kind of doesn't really care about any of this anyways, as long as he can "get some tacos!". And the worst thing you can ever do to someone like Kidd is make him care ...cause feelings suck ...or something? So when right becomes wrong, and wrong becomes right, something has to change. Maybe even the Kidd himself? Cause above all else, the Kidd will tell you, "that thinking things" is not exactly his strong suit, and violence does solve a lot of problems. But Kidd's motto is a simple one that has served him well, on his rise up the ranks of the Star City Crime Syndicate: "The enemy of my enemy ...is my double secret enemy!" And his special secret superpower is to always be in the right place at the wrong time and do the stupidest thing possible under the circumstances. Which oddly works out for him a lot more often than it should. Welcome to the sick-sad-stupid-sexist world of Heroworship.
