A smile twisted onto his lips. "Oh but darling brother....you expect me to be so merciful..." On that fateful night of Halloween, Dumbledore makes a fatal mistake; the wrong boy-who-lived is named. Soon after, Harry James Potter was thrown in Azkaban for no authentic reason at the age of 7. He happens to be incarcerated in the same prison cell as Bellatrix, Rodophlus, and Rabastan Lestrange. It's across from his godfather, Sirius Black, who often accesses the Lestrange's cell via his animagus form. When he is eleven years old, a single lonely brown owl shivers as it passes through the Azkaban wards. It is delivering a letter to one Harry J. Potter in Cell 777. Harry, who was trained and taught beforehand by Black and the Lestranges, recieves the letter with unsuppressed glee. He will have his revenge.

Harry Potter disappears when he is four years old and the wizarding world believes him dead. But when his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, Harry returns in a storm of lightning; a grown man raised in a world of violence, more powerful than anyone could imagine, and the worst thing of all? No one walks alone. No one stays out past dark. Children are not found without their parents. Some elder children even return home to make sure nothing back happens to there families. And where's Harry during all of this? No one knows. No one except the Order and Ministry know where Harry Potter lies. One dangerous thing the Order and Ministry had failed to check... is if anything was left behind on Harry himself... well while he was still sane that is.

It's year four for Harry and his friends, and Voldemort has returned with a sinister plot to gain more Death Eater followers through the Triwizard Tournament. There's only one problem: Sirius has put his significant political clout to good use by insisting that an external committee entirely made up of parents oversee the tasks and make sure they are as safe as possible, and that the goblet of fire be altered to allow forfeits, and different school champions be selected for each of the now seven tasks. With Severus risking his life spying on Voldemort once again, Sirius and his friends and allies intend to make the most of the information he gains. The year is not going to be as smooth as everyone wants, though, with an unexpected creature inheritance and new powers for someone, and teenage hormones really messing up the emotions of every one of the trio and their friends. ~~~~~ Book four of my series rewrite, with more tasks and champions as promised.
