This is my ten-form poetry submission to the first annual ATTYS competition. Jamie is struggling with his mental health, sexuality, and his addiction to self-harm. His mother seeks refuge in the bottles of the booze she drinks late at night to escape the horrible event in the not-to-distant past. Jamie is torn between his instinct to sacrifice his own recovery to save his mother, and his new-found knowledge that he can only save himself and no one else. It Needs a Name is a day by day account through Jamie's eyes of what his life as become, the demons he fights and how he copes with the parts of himself that he'd rather kill.

16 year old Maxwell Quincy had the perfect life. A loving family, an amazing boyfriend, and 3 best friends. But within a week, his life quickly begins to fall apart. His parents are fighting, his boyfriend might dump him, and his friends are becoming distant. On top of everything, Andre is determined to get revenge on Max. But Max is deeply in love with Noah and willing to do whatever it takes to stay with him.

Cora Markings is a freak, according to her classmates. After an accident claims her father's life and Cora's voice, she Stuck On Mute. At 12 she was considered like a dog, no opinion. Now 17 she has gotten over the loss of her voice, so she claims. Her twin siblings, Kaylah and Luke, feel her pain and try not to add to it. Though when their family suddenly has to move, Cora is thrown into a new town, ready to be ridiculed. But, can Leo, A jock who takes notice to Cora, make her feel whole again? Cora pushes him away because after all, Who could love a mute girl?
