Meaning, her mate will get as powerful as she is, IF they get married. This power comes in handy for the Volturi, so Aro spent half his life searching for the person who can give him more power. But of course, they didn't know who possesses this power. But they knew that this power existed. The people down La Push are the only ones who knew. And that gives the pack more right to treat her as their baby princess, much to Lock's dismay. The pack are very protective over her, but nothing compared to how over protective her best friend Jacob Black is. They knew that the Volturi will figure out about Locks somehow so they had a few of the pack follow her around almost everywhere including school, where she gains new friends such as THE Jasper Hale, and THE Edward Cullen. Locks is confused for who is she to choose. Edward, Jasper, Paul, or Jacob?
