THE STORY IS LEAVING PAID ON JULY 23RD, 2023 The hunter becomes the hunted! Twenty-four-year-old Anna Nightingale has a terrible secret, and it might just kill her. If only her family were in a safe business, like firefighting or skydiving, she might've had a better chance at survival. But no! Anna comes from a long line of vampire hunters, and when a night of clubbing ends up with her being killed and turned into a vampire, she must take off on a road trip across Canada with her sexy sire and his vampire pals before her family ends her life permanently. ----- For generations, the Nightingales have been the biggest threat to vampires, hunting them to near extinction. Anna spent her childhood training to fight bloodsuckers, but as the only Nightingale who wanted a sense of normalcy, Anna decided vampire hunting wasn't her calling. Instead, she enrolled in an MFA program with aspirations of becoming a novelist. One night at a club, Anna and her headstrong friend, Jess, meet four mysterious men. Anna suspects they might be vampires who are planning to kill Jess and tries to fend them off. Despite Anna's fighting prowess, she cannot fight four at once. They kill Jess, and Rhys, the vampire ringleader, ends up turning Anna into a bloodsucker. Now that they've killed a human, the vampires must flee the city to avoid the famed Nightingales. They take off on a road trip across Canada, staying one step ahead of the Nightingales while training Anna to protect herself against them. Anna tries to maintain her secrecy and sanity as they crisscross Canada, crashing with werewolves and witches along the way, while fighting her powerful attraction to Rhys. But Anna's biggest problem might not be her family. If her traveling companions find out she's a Nightingale, Anna's trip will hit a painful dead end. This eccentric Gen Z knew if anyone could pull off the time travel paradox, it was her. Now in her time, one had managed to travel 1/5 seconds into the future, however going back in past, that phrasing merely existed within the worlds of science fiction. She is the furthest thing from dumb and knows better than to forsake causality just like she knows to bear the Earth's rotation and axis in mind, after all; she does not wish to fuck the universe in two. Regardless, while she finds herself fucking about for shits and giggles, the government of 2025 hijacks her research and opens a portal by accident. Now that is a big do-over.

Natalie was a broke college graduate with a degree worth less than the paper it was printed on. When the weight of all her past mistakes finally crashed down on her one rainy night, she was accidentally whisked away into the mysterious space-ship of swashbuckling captain Meyer Hudson via his (once again) lost time-traveling umbrella. With his playful attitude and mysterious past, Natalie found herself oddly intrigued and before she knew it, was being dragged all across time and space with man more secretive than she was. Throw in a few mammal-arachnid hybrids, a shady time-traveling tourist business, the always-watching Time And Space Travel (TAST) police, a psychotic old partner bent on revenge, and perhaps a dash of romance, Natalie finds herself in a new life she never learned how to live in during 18th-century-monarchs 101.

A small beggar boy, the most powerful mage in a millennium. A wise cracking baby owl of death. An academy filled with the next rulers of the world and a war in Gaul about to start. You might say trouble is brewing. Rome wasn't built in a day, or so we say. But what if it was, what if powerful forces were at work, and they carried on playing their part throughout its history? Magic, monsters and people who could control them. Power is a game played out with monstrous pieces all across the ancient world and at its very heart was Rome. Despite its power and influence, the city has fallen on hard times, with wars raging across the northern lands, most men have been levied into the legions but it still isn't enough to achieve the total victory the senate want. When Iatus is pulled off the streets and put to the mage's test he knows he's probably going to die. But when he survives his encounter with a powerful demon, he starts down the path of war, murder and the endless pursuit of power.

Magic caused the war. Magic is forbidden. Magic will save us. The Relic Guild is the award nominated first book in The Relic Guild trilogy. It was said the Labyrinth had once been the great meeting place, a sprawling city at the heart of an endless maze where a million humans hosted the Houses of the Aelfir. But when the Thaumaturgists, overlords of human and Aelfir alike, went to war, everything was ruined and the Labyrinth became an abandoned prison. The surviving humans were trapped behind boundary walls a hundred feet high, and all magic was forbidden. And now the war is returning. The Relic Guild are all that stand against the end of the city. But they are old, scattered and weak, and the enemy is growing in strength... Here in THE RELIC GUILD (and other stories) please enjoy a large chunk of The Relic Guild Trilogy (published with kind permission of my publisher Gollancz), complete short stories, the odd poem, one or two blog posts, and samples chapters from my other novels.
