Summary
Xiao Zhan has been sickly since childhood-so fragile that his family never lets him lift a finger. Fed by his father and brother, wrapped in care, and protected from the world, he lives a quiet, sheltered life... until he suddenly transmigrates into a novel.
Worse-he becomes the villain.
In the original story, the real young master of the Wang family was switched at birth with another baby. Wang Yibo grows up as the beloved young master of the powerful Wang family, while the real heir, Xiao Zhan, is raised in an ordinary middle-class home. When the original Xiao Zhan is ten, his parents die, and he survives alone by working part-time jobs, growing up cold, bitter, and exhausted.
At nineteen, an accident exposes the truth. The Wang family brings him back-but their hearts still belong to Wang Yibo. Consumed by jealousy and resentment, the original Xiao Zhan becomes cruel and vicious, desperately trying to steal back love that was never given to him. In the end, he dies at the hands of the Wang family-the very people who should have been his.
Now, the new Xiao Zhan wakes up in that doomed body-with a system and one very clear goal:
> Stay far away from the Wang family. Stay alive. Live peacefully.
When the Wang family comes looking for him, Xiao Zhan flat-out refuses to acknowledge them.
"No, nope, absolutely not. What if you sell my kidney? You rich people are scary."
He wants nothing to do with wealth, status, or "family." He works part-time jobs, hides his identity, and just wants to survive quietly.
But fate doesn't let him go.
The Wang family starts noticing him.
And Wang Yibo-cold, ruthless, emotionally distant to everyone-starts watching him too.
At first, it's guilt. He knows Xiao Zhan is the real young master. He knows he should give everything back.
Then it becomes concern.Then... something far more dangerous.
The boy he was supposed to hate, the "villain" from the story, slowly becomes the one person he can't look away from.
