Yet in spite of all the obstacles in Tessa Finch's way, surviving is something she's always had to do, just not in the same way as during the zombie apocalypse. Soon she finds a group she can trust and who will help her survive, but can she hold onto her humanity in order to stay with them?

The majority of the characters belong to AMC's The Walking Dead. This was based and inspired by The Walking Dead TV show. The story is set in Season 3, after Hershel's farm is overrun (So if you haven't got that far please do not read to avoid spoilers about who's alive or not). After that, the story swerves off in a different direction and the rest of the events belong to me. Alone in an apocalypse, Yasmine has to survive, at least she'd found the most friendly mode of transport, her horse Starstruck. How will she live through rabid zombie monsters? To different people they are named different things: geeks, biters, creepers, walkers or just 'The Infected'. They are brain dead and they want meat, check it out :) **This story was written by me, an Aussie girl and is set in America so if I get something wrong about the schools, politics or places or whatever, be kind coz I don't know what I'm talking about :) I will also be using Australian spelling*

SEQUEL TO THE WALKING DEAD DARKEST DAYS needs severe editing - Lilly Dixon is Daryl Dixon's daughter. She is slowly bonding with him since she never got a chance to meet him. She is twenty years old in a relationship with Carl Grimes. When the group find somewhere that they had left a long time ago is deserted they settle down and begin to think, life could become normal again.

Following closely the third season of the series, this story reveals the life of a fifteen year old survivor, Quinn, and her unusually close, but platonic, relationship with Merle Dixon as they survive the apocalypse together. Having lost her family in the first few weeks of the outbreak, Quinn is no stranger to the horrors this new world brings. The only silver lining was having Merle Dixon find her on the precipice of death and nurse her back to health. Because of that, Quinn has irrevocably bonded with the man on a deep level. Perhaps she is too deeply entwined in his life, too blind to what he has done, and what he is capable of. Perhaps she doesn't know the true Merle Dixon. Nevertheless, she will follow the older man to hell and back, and that truth will be tested in the time to come. Flashbacks are in italic. The Walking Dead does not belong to me, and all characters and dialogue belong to them. Chapters follow (for the most part) the plot from the episode, and some dialogue is taken directly from the show. Once again, all credit belongs to AMC's The Walking Dead, all that belongs to me are my original ideas and my character.
