She ignores the anxiety that tears through her veins and scrubs her hands over her face, futilely trying to dispel her nerves and wipe the tears that had fallen down her cheeks. She bites down on her bottom lip. Heaving out a breath, chest tightening she chokes out- "I don't want to see them die again." She confesses her biggest fear. She was back in the past. She was twelve again. She was going to have to live through all of that again. The sage hums. The 4th Great Ninja War is finally over, but at a cost. Everyone is dead. Well, almost everyone. Naruto(along with Kurama), Sakura, and Shikamaru are the only people in Konoha left alive. Things weren't supposed to have ended the way they did. The war had lasted too long, countless of them had died fighting. They had fought until Madara was finally, truly dead. But now, there was only two left. With Konoha gone and everyone dead, neither of them accepted the cruel outcome. So, they went back. -- "You can't save everyone, death can't be avoided." "We can sure as hell try. We failed them once, it won't happen again."

Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura, the last remaining members of Team Seven, as well as the last ones left in their world. They had killed Uchiha Madara and ensured that he was gone for good. Now they have the chance to go back and change their fate, to save their friends and family. What would they do? Would they ever attain peace?
