Jack is an extremely gifted and smart scientist. He is one of the three mission directors for the Mission To Mars, and it's his job to communicate with the astronauts. After months of guiding the mission, he begins to fall for the captain, Mark Fischbach. They will try to make their difficult relationship work, even if they are over A Million Miles Away. ~Dedicated to my friend, FieldOfGinger, or Ginger~

Jack is almost perfect. He is strong, brave, and fights giant monsters and dragons to protect his people. Girls swoon over him, and Princess Desiree desires to marry him and make him the Prince of the Aldric Kingdom. He lives almost a perfect life. Well, except for one thing. Jack is a character in a video game. He has no control over his life or his actions, and he has to monotonously obey every command given to him from the one on the other side of the screen. When Jack begins to fall for the Controller behind the TV, he realizes he must break the rules of the game to find his true Happily Ever After.
