_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ 🚨TW: Tod, Mobbing, mental health issues, SVV, Suicid, emotionale, sexuelle & physische Gewalt🚨

[[word count: 80,000-90,000 words]] Content and/or Trigger Warning: This story contains scenes of verbal and physical abuse that may be triggering for some readers. NOTICE: Before the Morning is currently undergoing revisions! A sensitivity reader (someone who goes through your manuscript and assesses representations in your work) identified a number of issues surrounding the Filipino representation in BTM. I'm rewriting with the goal of creating a more authentic and respectful story. I'm sorry for the pain I caused by failing to include accurate Filipino culture and in having written from Nora's point of view.

Realizing that and making a change, however, were two different things, as Avery soon understood. But life had not given her much of a choice. Maintaining a safe distance between herself and all those who used to know Riley was her miserable attempt at dealing with the grief. But she saw her strategic plan crumble, forced to face the friends she had been pushing away. The year is 2018, two years after One Direction went on hiatus, and also two years after Louis and Harry went their separate ways. Truth be told, they went their separate ways already a few months before that. They just pretended they were still on good terms so their fans wouldn't get suspicious. What happened between the two is something neither of them wants to talk about, and they haven't spoken a word to each other since the day the band went on hiatus. Now, two years later, Louis has just accepted the offer of being a judge in The X Factor. What he doesn't expect, though, is that he isn't the only one out of the members of One Direction who has accepted the offer. Harry has too. What will happen when the two have to spend time together after two years of not talking to each other? And what if one of the other judges is someone Louis has always been jealous of considering his close friendship with Harry? © 2021 Pauline (Larrys_Girl), All Rights Reserved. FREE STORY WITH EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. This is *not* a Paid Story. Eighteen-year-old hockey prodigy Elliot Wexler has three goals for senior year. One: somehow graduate with a 3.5 GPA. Two: hide his bipolar disorder from his peers. And three: make it into the NHL with no scandals. Piece of cake. What he doesn't expect is to find Lucy, a homeless girl, hiding from the winter frost in his dad's shed. Elliot's busy, complicated life doesn't permit room for error, and falling in love with a girl from a totally different world sounds like the opposite of a good idea. But Elliot can't help but be drawn to Lucy and her elusive ways--even when she seems to vanish from his life non-stop, each time leaving him with a bigger hole in his heart. But Elliot is determined to break down Lucy's barriers. And when he does, he discovers that her life is more complicated--and dangerous--than he could have imagined. With drafting season approaching, and Elliot's fragile mental health deteriorating, he's forced to face a difficult question: Is first love supposed to hurt so much? *** PLEASE DO NOT ADD THIS STORY TO GOODREADS.

Elijah Rosen, an introverted seventeen year old with a love for football, sneaks out almost every night to get away from the problems he faces during the day. He feels like his anxiety is taking over his life, and the only place he can go to escape it is the pitch black night right outside his window where he can be alone and let his thoughts run wild. But after he finds Adam Chang sitting at the bottom of an empty pool in the early hours of the morning with puffy red eyes and bruised hands, he begins to find comfort in something other than the dark. Only, Adam has a few problems of his own. And with pressure coming from his family, his friends, his school, and his own mind, Elijah isn't sure how he'll make it through the year. ------- "I think if you weren't here, I wouldn't be okay. I'd..." I trailed off, not wanting to say the words that we both knew were true. "Hey," he said softly, "I'm just glad I'm here, then." He started to let go of me, but I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him like I never had anybody else before. "I'm glad you are too." (featured by FreeTheLGBT: 1/13/2022)
