Jiang Cheng and Lan WangJi.... They do NOT get along. So, when the two are in another one of their fights while Wei WuXian babysits- they just happen to use spiritual energy activating too many of wei wuxian's unfinished or failed tailsman and manage to find themselves back in the body of their 15 year old selves during the lectures at Cloud Recesses...it takes a while for them to stop fighting and realize what accidental chance they've been given. What if the night LAN Zhan had first asked Wei Ying to come to Gusu with him he had actually not allowed the misunderstanding to happen? This is my idea of what could have happened. (Fixed the timeline issues to be a bit more realistic though not sure if I am still a bit off.)

After a diplomatic trip to the nearby fallen kingdom of Gusu, Prince Ying is aided by a mysterious masked man.
