In an age where men rule absolute and women are relegated to the shadows, a sorceress arises to upset the balance of power and lay waste to the Five Thrones of Yoh. She is pitted against a great knight who has been blessed with an enchanted mask from the Raven goddess. The knight is victorious but he has broken the law. How will the people of the Five Thrones react when they discover the greatest hero they have ever known is a woman? Will they kill her for impersonating a man as the law demands? Will they bury her identity and her legacy in the dark halls of their history?
