A cutesy tale I wrote about the characters in the Lunar Chronicles. I loved this ship so much while reading the books, it gave me life. This was written a long while ago when my friend and I decided to write fanfic and send it to each other, so I apologize if there are any errors I didn't catch. She was able to waltz, knew how to hold herself as royalty should, and never questioned the word of the queen. But her mind was often else where. It was buried beneath the Glamour she would wear when she dressed as a mechanic. It was lost in thoughts of Earth and the people who walked along the blankets of green that covered their land. And it had even managed to fall for the Earthen Emperor Kaito, a man whose charms even she wasn't immune to. Yes, she would look lovely at the ball. She would waltz with her possible suitors and stand regally before the men and women who wished her a happy birthday. But Selene wasn't like other Lunars. And she would never fit in at the ball.
