Kirua Zoldyck se voit forcer de déménager dans une nouvelle ville qui lui est inconnue suite à un problème dans son ancien lycée. Il ne lui reste qu'une seule chose, sa passion: le tennis. Il n'imaginera jamais rencontrer quelqu'un comme Gon dans son club. Gon, ce garçon qui semble si heureux aux premiers abords mais pleurant derrière les vestiaires après l'entraînement, toujours pressé. Depuis qu'ils s'étaient séparés à quatorze ans, Gon et Kirua n'ont communiqué que par message.
