The war has concluded, and the Golden Trio and the other students of their year have returned to finish off their years at Hogwarts. The Death Eaters have been imprisoned, and Hogwarts has been repaired. However, the war changed everyone, whether it was a small change or a more evident one. Relationships have been broken, but some have also been formed... Could there finally be a normal year at Hogwarts? Of course not.

"Who ever said loving each other was easy?"

Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger? Impossible some would say but nothing is impossible. True love always conquers in the end and hopefully it will conquer in this story too. The war is over at long last and with some hard labour, time and a final wave of the wand, Hogwarts is reconstructed to look like its old self. The secret passageways, the pesky house elves and the magnificent food. It's only fair to let the people who missed their last year of Hogwarts to come back and have all the opportunities that they could ever want. This is why Harry, Ron and Hermione came back to Hogwarts, thankful to be away from the chaos of people asking for their photographs and signatures. Draco Malfoy also came back after being cleared of his previous records. He has always had strong feelings for Hermione but had never acted on them. He had decided to stay away from her this year but that was made difficult as Hermione was Head Girl and he was Head Boy. Will the two most unlikely people fall in love at long last?

Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger keep "glaring" at each other more like staring, and what's with Malfoy keep visiting the Library each time and talking to Hermione more well there's not that much talking involved. "Malfoy?" I repeated. "Kiss me." He said, suddenly. "Might as well start now." He looked at me expectantly, so full of desire, that I couldn't breathe for a moment. The emotion in Draco's eyes was something far different from the need I had grown used to seeing in Ron's eyes. Draco was looking at me like I was the only thing in the world that mattered at that very moment, his eyes devouring me hungrily as if they couldn't believe that I was really in front of him. In spite of myself, I stepped further into his embrace, pressing a hand to his chest. His hand remained on my face, still but a whisper of a touch, as if afraid that if he pushed, this fragile moment would shatter beyond repair. I stared up at him, confused by his hesitation. These were just lessons, right? I was so used to kissing Ron that this was strange, what made it even stranger was that it was Malfoy I was going to kiss. His hand unconsciously drifted to my waist, and he pulled me closer gently, making it clear that this was my choice, and I could break the embrace if I wished. His face came closer to mine, slowly but steadily, and it stopped just centimeters from mine. He was so close now, that I could see a faint scar on his lower lip.
