Arthur tells Uther, and Uther kills Hunith and arrests Merlin. He can't kill Merlin for some reason. He ends up throwing Merlin with Kilgarrah, the Great Dragon. Eleven years later, Morgana begins to hear voices in her head. She follows them with Arthur down to the dungeon, where they meet a certain raven haired warlock.
