What if the high king of Skyrim was never really killed? What if his murder was a plot? Skyrim is forever changed after Alduin's defeat. It seems to be a land of peace after the Imperials and Stormcloaks sign a treaty. But when the Dragonborn goes missing, a new threat is revealed-one the people of Tamriel have faced before.... In the midst of newfound chaos, the Thalmor are rising in power, and a secret resistance is too. Will the truth about the origin of the Civil War be revealed, or will Skyrim plunge into another? And in the dawn of this new age, who will stand against the darkness.... P.S. I'm not sure exactly where this is going, so be prepared for changes in the title, summary, etc. P.P.S I'm a budding writer and would like this book and any that may follow to be top quality, so any constructive criticism would really be appreciated. :) P.P.P.S. For fans of Skyrim and easter eggs, a little thinking about the words below can reveal sort of where I expect to go with this story. Mace Shout Eye Enjoy!

Book One of the Honor and Glory Trilogy After training for over a year to fulfill her destiny as Dragonborn and defeat Alduin, Ylva knew she would need a challenge. Joining the Companions in Whiterun seemed like the only guild she could ever call home. But she still doesn't feel quite settled. None of the Companions know she's the Dragonborn, the savior of Skyrim. And she doesn't want them to know. What would they say if they knew? Would they respect her? Or would they hate her and tell her to leave? Would they scoff at the idea that a woman barely into her adulthood had been the one to save them? Maybe not all of them, but Vilkas, one of the most respected members within the Circle, and one of the most honor-bound men she has ever met, can't seem to fathom that thought. Because of this, Ylva doesn't know if she could ever tell her new family who she truly is. NOTE: I do not own Skyrim, the Companions, or any of the dialogue from this game. This is a fanfiction and a fanfiction only; I only own my original characters and dialogue. Sequel: To Kill A Dragonborn

Book Two of the Honor and Glory Trilogy After the unexpected attack on Jorrvaskr, Ylva Sky-Shatterer has discovered a note that talks about the small island of Solstheim and some strange man called Miraak. The name Miraak sounds so familiar, like she should know him, but the meaning of the name eludes her. Whoever this man is, he sent two people to kill her, and now she must find out why. So her husband, Vilkas, his brother, Farkas, the Companions's new recruit, Tyra, and Ylva are to set out to Solstheim. They have to find out who this Miraak is, and soon. Ylva has no idea what to expect, but she does know one thing. This adventure will end with either Miraak or herself at the end of the other's blade. NOTE: I do not own Skyrim, its quest lines, or its dialogue. I only own my original characters and dialogue. Prequel: Honor and Glory Sequel: Victory or Sovngarde

Book Three of the Honor and Glory Trilogy Six years after defeating Miraak and saving the entire world for the second time, Ylva Sky-Shatterer finds herself in the middle of a new kind of adventure: motherhood. Her twin children, a boy and a girl named Jergen and Embla, keep her on her toes. They've already proven their natural battle prowess and inclination towards the warrior's way, not to mention tempers that burn brighter than dragon fire and wanderlust spirits. Even with the help of her husband, Ylva wonders how she'll survive raising these two into adulthood. But her temperamental and wild children become the least of her worries when an old friend brings her important--and terrifying--news. The Aldmeri Dominion's presence in Skyrim has tightened, and the wretched Thalmor now walk through the lands with a new authority. They punish indiscriminately, and they have no mercy. Ylva will not stand for the injustice, and now has to face her biggest challenge yet. She has to unite the people of Skyrim under one common battlecry and drive those High Elves back to the lands from which they came. In order to win, Ylva must rely on those she thought she'd never trust, and forge bonds stronger than Skyforge steel. In the end, she knows that they will either win, or Sovngarde will welcome them all. NOTE: Bethesda owns all rights to the Skyrim characters in this fanfiction. I only own my original characters, dialogue, and plot line. Prequel: To Kill A Dragonborn

Toril Stormcloud, an ancient Daughter of Coldharbour, has returned to her native home of Skyrim after being away for several hundred years. She's come back with a purpose, but her plans are derailed when she becomes a captive of the Imperial Legion. Alongside many Stormcloaks-including Ulfric himself-and a few other people, Toril finds herself being carted away to her execution. After a harrowing escape alongside one of her fellow prisoners, Toril resumes her mission, heading towards Morthal and an old crypt that holds something very important to her. Something equally as old as herself. Something equally as powerful. And she needs to get to it before others do. Others who would exploit the power within the crypt. So, with a newly turned vampire in tow, Toril heads for the crypt, ready to take on anyone inside. All she wants to do is protect her best and oldest friend. NOTE: All rights to Skyrim belong to Bethesda Game Studios. I am only writing a fanfiction, and all my original characters and dialogue belong to me.

Femke, a Nordic-Bosmeri woman, has come to Riften to start over. She thought she was ready for adventuring in the big, wide world outside of her meager home in the mining colony of Dawnstar. She couldn't have been more wrong. After several mishaps and roadblocks, she stumbles to Riften, footsore, hungry, and with no money to her name, in hopes of finding some good, honest work. But no one seems to trust her because she has elven blood. Turned away and alone, she is found by two members of a mysterious organization operating within Riften. One, a Nordic man called Brynjolf, takes pity on the poor human-elf and offers her a job, and if she does well, a spot within the "Guild," as he puts it. NOTE: If I owned Skyrim, I would have no need for writing fanfictions just for the heck of it. I only own Femke and my original dialogue. Everything else is credited to Bethesda Game Studios.

I highly recommend you read my completed Skyrim works before reading this book. Sometimes, authors have ideas that look good in rough drafts, or in early versions of their works, but don't make any sense after they get done polishing up the story they're writing. Most authors would shrug it off and just leave the idea floating around, never to be seen by the public. Not me. No, I don't like to waste writing. I don't want to keep these crazy ideas to myself. I want to share them with the world. And that was where the idea for This is Our Home came from. This book is a collection of short stories that didn't make the cut when I was writing my other books. Features any characters from previous books and any characters that will be requested. Requests are always open. NOTE: This is not a reader insert book or one-shots book. This will all be written from a first-person perspective.

Helvia Abgrall, a naïve and restless young Breton farm girl, leaves her comfortable and uneventful life at her family's farmstead in High Rock in hopes of attending Skyrim's College of Winterhold, as she longs to learn more about magic and how to use it, as well as to improve upon her own natural aptitude. However, she's anything but prepared for the journey that lies ahead of her. She's inexperienced, clueless, nearly incapable of fending for herself, and her lack of common sense is almost unreal. However, she's determined to make a better life for herself than the one she had before, and her resolve alone might just be enough to help her reach her goal. Well, that is, if things were going in her favor to begin with. There is another force that seeks to divert her path to a less pleasant venue, and it is far stronger than she is. In order to keep herself from losing sight of why she even left home in the first place, she'll have to stay ahead of a surprisingly powerful, on-the-rise faction in a foreign land - and she won't be able to do that alone. This aspiring mage will travel alongside pickpockets and pariahs, mercenaries and monarchs, and many more intriguing inhabitants of the province of Skyrim on the way to achieving her dream - and, just maybe, she'll befriend a few of them along the way way. But her path will not be an easy one - at least, not the one that she's hoping to take. She will have to make sacrifices and learn to adapt to unfavorable outcomes, and, in the end, she may learn that following her dreams might not be in her best interest.

I, Kisvar, the only known Dragonborn, have defeated Alduin in Sovngarde. I joined the side of the Stormcloaks in the Civil War, and the Empire is subdued once and for all. Skyrim is at peace, and I am renowned across the Nine Holds. You might think my life has slowed down some now, right? That I'm taking a well-earned break from adventuring? .... No. I make my living as an adventurer, and in secret, as the Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild. I thrive on adventure and attention. You wouldn't take a break from breathing, would you? Didn't think so. Now I'm starting on a new quest, one that started with two strangely-dressed men and an order to kill me from some person named Miraak....

I don't know what I did to deserve this. Sundering of my soul, the destruction of all I held dear. Well, that's a bit dramatic, but hey. I've got to tell my story, don't I? Though I'll admit... perhaps the savior of the world isn't quite so honorable as she should have been. Let's get the exposition over with-- Why in all of Tamriel did I sell my goddamn soul?! ------- Hello! This story is currently being rewritten as Moonlight's Eclipse. It's quite the improvement! Take a look at my profile if you're interested! -------- Highest rankings: #1 in Brynjolf (01/05/19, 09/18/23) #1 in Scrolls (06/22/18) #1 in Skyrim (09/13/20, 11/02/22) ------- Morning Star=January Sun's Dawn=February First Seed=March Rain's Hand=April Second Seed=May Midyear=June Sun's Height=July Last Seed=August Heartfire=September Frostfall=October Sun's Dusk=November Evening Star=December ----------------------------- Original description: Are you kidding me? I went to Riften for a break. Being an adventurer isn't exactly an easy job all the time. Yet the first thing I do is get mixed up in the Thieves Guild. I must be a damn genius. Contains suggestive themes, strong language, alcohol use, and heavy descriptions of gore. Rated PG-13. ___
