This is the introduction to the series of poems 'Whimsical Nights'. This is my current project, and I will be adding to it periodically. When I first thought of this new series, I realized I needed a name. Oftentimes, names can be the difference between failure and success. I decided to call this series 'Whimsical Nights,' because I get most of my inspiration for writing when the stars are out and the world around me is quiet. I can think easier, and words seem to flow from my mind. I love it. I hope you love it too. Enjoy!

According to my mother, or Mother Dearest as I prefer to call her, my defiant behavior is unacceptable. Her way of dealing with me? Sending me to Devonshire Academy for Delinquents. If she thinks that my harmless pranks and apparent attitude labels me as a delinquent, then I'll live up to her expectations and show her a delinquent. Maybe this won't be so bad after all. Especially when a certain sexy bad boy walks into my life... well, detention. Same difference. Watch out Devenshire Academy, here I come.
