Patrick snaps one day while at school and hurts another student, causing him to be sent to juvy where he meets an interestingly troubled boy by the name of Pete Wentz.

Everyday Pete goes to the small coffee shop down the street from his Chicago apartment. And every time he does the boy with the glasses is always there to make him smile. ➖➖➖➖➖➖ This is a short Peterick AU. So there will be quite a few chapters, but they will be short. Patrick knows there's something under his bed. He's known since he was four. His parents knew nothing about the mysterious monster under his bed. Mr. Sandman sings the boy to sleep every night, and constantly talks to Patrick. When the boy turns 17, Mr. Sandman is all he has. His parents have neglected him, and he's bullied at school on a daily basis. Finally, Mr. Sandman decides it's time to comfort Patrick.

One night after a show in November of 2008, Pete approaches Patrick on the bus after everyone else has gone to bed for a one night thing. Afterwards, Patrick isn't sure he wants it to end then, Pete wants to forget about the whole thing, and problems continue to arise. *Trigger warning* Sexual situations (although no smut, but something pretty close to it), swearing, alcohol, talk of a mental disorder. Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump have been friends since as long as they can remember. Ever since first grade Pete's been simultaneously bugging Patrick and looking after him. Now they're older though not much has changed, but recently it seems Patrick doesn't need looking after anymore.

peterick fic~ Patrick is the new kid at the school. Everyone thinks Pete the average bad boy. He has tattoos and a bad reputation making him seem more fierce than he real is. Patrick, on the other hand, is probably the most innocent perfect individual to walk this Earth. He is an A student with a 4.8 GPA. No tattoos, piercings, or any body modifications what so ever. Despite their differences, they both very similar stories. When they both come in for detention on Saturday morning, they learn things about each other they didn't know before including how alike they really are. TW: Some chapters may be triggering. When Pete shows up Sunday, mid-afternoon, for ten days of house sitting and "Keeping a general eye on things, Patrick, we know you're too old for a babysitter, but we worry," he looks exactly the same, except for a stupid haircut that makes him look like someone cut it when he was too drunk to look in a mirror, or something. "Hey, kid," he says, first thing, lugging a huge, shiny brown duffle behind him. It's slippery, nylon or something, and it keeps rubbing against Pete's jeans, making some sort of whispery zipper sound that sets Patrick's teeth on edge. "I'm here for Patricksitting.
