The monsters down here are misunderstood, they are afraid. They kill me again and again. Even Sans kills me, actually he is the most ruthless. The only one who never did was Flowey. He is my best friend, we have been through so much together. He has taught me to fight, I never did though. I couldn't bring myself to, if I did I would be just like the other monsters. The most current timeline, I finally convinced all the monsters that they didn't need to kill or hurt each other. It was so hard. Sans was the hardest of them all, he...he was scared of moving forward, because he believed time would just turn back. So, what's the point? But! I had finally broken the barrier. I- no, We! Alone in a condemned world where monsters and humans fight for power constantly, Y/N survives off of the wood's riches and the small scraps of shelter she can find in ghost towns. Allies and friends have come and gone during the war, either killed or have parted ways. It's not all that bad. She could be dead, after all. One afternoon when shipments from the Human Capital come on a train, she meets a mysterious stranger who saves her life. He's a monster, no doubt, a skeleton to be exact. Y/N is intrigued by the monster and decides to follow him into the next town over where he disappears into an abandoned warehouse. Y/N follows him in only to be pinned to the wall for questioning. After answering all his questions, introductions are made and Y/N learns that the skeleton's name is G. Y/N likes G despite his hateful nature and somehow convinces him to let her come along on a quest he's taking to save his brother from the Monster Capital where they took him for war. After surviving assaults, the government, and Mother Nature herself, Y/N and G start to form a special bond that neither of them wants to break. But when everything goes wrong and neither of them is strong enough to prevent it, Y/N finds that the capitals that she had always hated are far more sinister than she could've ever imagined. Sans has lived through countless timelines. He's seen the kid make friends with everyone, only to give up in the final moments. He's seen the kid killed, over and over and over again. Sometimes, he'd even done the killing himself. And no one ever remembers. Not even the kid herself. It's an exhausting cycle, one that never seems to end. But there's something different about this run. Another human's fallen down... the kid's sister.
