After rekindling the first flame, Edgar's body and soul was used as kindling, being burnt into nothingness. This is where the story should have ended, where Edgar ceased to be. As the bombs drop everything is destroyed, buildings, nature, animals, and people. The world as we knew it was burned to ashes, and a new age began as the survivors rebuilt. That is, until someone found what remained of the kiln of the first flame, and the man in metal armor sitting by a fire in the center.
