Lauren was the average teenager. Glad to be out of high school for the summer before she would have to start college with a not so average terminal cancer that would soon be likely to take her life. She lived her life the best she could, dwelling in music and art, never aware of the things that happened around her. Every day, she walked down to the store on the beach, knowing that the only person who dared to interact with her was always there. Normani Kordei owned the surf shop, something her father had decided to let her run for the summer and was the only friendly person who would talk to the green eyed girl. It wasn't out of pity for knowing she had no friends, but a longing for the sweet girl's company. No one wanted to talk to Lauren or even be around her because she of her illness. It wasn't transmittable but Lauren's depression seemed to act that way which left many to naturally move away from her. They pitied her, but not enough to try and care for her. With one month left to live, Lauren is determined to make it the best of her life. *disclaimer* it's not that realistic SINCE ITS FICTION AND YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH FICTION. If you hate on the book I'm just gonna mute you because I'm done with this

He sighed lowly to himself. "I love you too though" "You don't..." I replied. "Why don't you believe me?" "Because you screamed it to me Jay, right after we conceived our daughter. I will never forget that...." I looked at him with tears pouring down from my eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why did my love cause me so much pain... I was already in pain when I met him, but he aided me with our love, that soon became my drug. The drug I'd become addicted to and and fall in love with the withdrawals of lust between us. That same drug that'll change my personality when without, and into the bitterest bïtch without a doubt. This is our Love story, mine mostly. Of how one's addiction to such a Drug, always lead up with her tummy being rubbed.👀👶🚼🚻👫👪💕 -Diynara Taylor🌹 This is Flaws and All

An uptight Normani is partnered with the carefree Dinah Jane for their dance showcase. Will they be able to work together and put on a magical performance, or will their different personalities clash? Or...will feelings of love fill the air? (Nah, that's too cheesy. Or is it...?) Lauren looked at the kids, seeing their attention on her. She surveyed her new foster kids. She stopped caring for names after her fourth home. She wasn't going to stay long enough to actually make a connection, but she learned to study the other kids she lived with, after one of her foster siblings hurt her. Ally, the oldest, wasn't very tall for most nine year olds she had met. She had a grin on her face, and seemed to be jittery. Normani, the kid that was the same age as her, was watching her. She looked a little scary to Lauren. Camila was the smallest one. She was eating a banana and was holding Dinah's hand. Dinah was pretty tall for a five year old. She was about the same size as Ally. She was smiling, but she still scared Lauren. 7 of 7 (Better Together) Posted: February 2nd, 2018
