One night, while picking up her drunk brother from a party she allows herself to become re-acquainted with Nick Hadley, her childhood friend who happens to be staying with her family. They forge a deep connection that brings about new feelings for both, that have them scared for different reasons.

One thing I'll always remember is my parents saying "Everyone has a story" "Everyone has a story with a past, tragic or not. Everyone has a story that is meant to go unjudged, even if it was never told" But sometimes we forget that. Like when I though that my guardian was the devil. Even though he taught me how to laugh, how to protect, and even possible how to love. I only asked one thing "Why?" I still remember the one phrase that changed my life"Let me carry her" This one single and normal phrase was said by none other than Cooper Kingsley, our school's and town's bad boy. He was the championship boxer who drove a motorcycle and got into trouble frequently. He's the guy with brown hair that looked soft enough to run my fingers through, the guy with irresistible cold blue eyes and the guy with a built and strong body that made girls crazy. He wasn't your typical player either; no he was just hard to get- A complete tease. And the fact that he would volunteer to help a girl like this, was not normal. So what did Cooper Kingsley want anything to do with the bland and boring me? I was completely and utterly average. Or so I thought. So why did the devil suddenly become my guardian? Let's find out. It started on Wattpad but now is EVERYWHERE! With a bestselling book by WWBG, a captivating Webcomic on Webtoon, and a film adaptation by Wattpad WEBTOON studios, you can read, scroll, or watch - there's an experience for everyone to dive into Waverly and Blake's journey. ***** In order to fit in during her summer visit to a beachside town, Waverly must take swimming lessons from Blake, the moody (but gorgeous) lifeguard next door. ***** Seventeen-year-old Waverly Lyons is from Alaska. She doesn't do sun. But after her divorced parents can't agree on who gets to have her for the summer, Waverly gets shipped off to Holden, Florida, to spend a couple months with her aunt, Rachel. There's one minor hiccup: Blake Hamilton, Rachel's seventeen-year-old neighbor. He's athletic, outgoing, arrogant, tan, and pretty much Waverly's exact opposite. She's eager to avoid him at all costs, hoping to fit in with the other kids in Holden without drawing too much attention to herself. But when Blake discovers that Waverly has been hiding the rather embarrassing secret that she can't swim, he does the unthinkable: He offers to teach her. [[word count: 100,000-150,000 words]]

It was pity that first made Dannie speak to him. She had known Ryan since she was a kid, but he had always been the popular Golden Boy, and she had always been the tomboy that didn’t mind not having any friends. It was odd, she had thought, that all the popular kids who had once kissed the ground he walked on, didn’t so much spared him a glance anymore, and it was this that made her sit with him that one faithful day and begin something that would only end up causing her pain.

"And rule number three, knock before you enter my room," I finished, moving my fore finger down with the instruction. His smirk widened as he leaned on my door frame.
