"You know, it won't physically hurt you to be nice for once." I crossed my arms in front of my chest and groaned. "I don't want to take a chance." the corner of his lips lifted a little as he finished his sentence. "Well, you don't hear me complaining. The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying? "You know what, just take your arrogant ass out of my room." I scowled at him, pointing towards the door. With small steps, he walked towards me. I took a step backwards when he neared me. He was invading my personal space, making me a bit flustered. The urge to push back his golden-brown hair covering his forehead was increasing with every passing second. "Gladly." he mumbled against my face and then walked past me out of my room. It took me a minute to calm down my racing heartbeat. ... He was a mystery, an enigma I wanted to solve. He was exhausting, he was infuriating, yet staying away from him was not an option. He was making me feel things I haven't felt before. Adam McArdle! Who are you and what are you doing to my poor little heart? ... #1 in GENERAL FICTION (23-05-2019) #1 in CHICKLIT (21-07-2019)

Don't cry. Don't cry. You're stronger than that. He's not worth it. He's not worth those tears. I took a deep breath and blinked my eyes rapidly as I made my way out of the office. Kyle was over there smiling in victory and when his eyes met mine, he smirked coldly at me. This time I could hold my tears in as they fell from my eyes. As Kyle's eyes followed the trails of tears down my cheek, his smirk slowly dropped. He looked taken aback and his gaze softened. I shivered in anger and disgust at him. I cant believe I just let him see me cry. I speed walked out of the cafe's door. As I started to hail a cab, a hand grabbed my arm and turned me around. "What do you want, Kyle? Haven't you done fucking enough?" I screamed at him. "No, I--" "Are you happy now? Satisfied, yet? Huh?" I shouted at him as I repeatedly jabbed my index finger at his chest. "Kyle, This might be just some game to you but to me it was my only chance of survival." I paused, my voice husky from all the screaming and my tone laced with sadness, "And you just came and blew it away." I say as another tear escapes my eye. "Avery--" He gives me a pained expression and raises his hand to touch my cheek but I slap it away. "Don't fucking touch me!" I screamed and then said "You think that you're so high and mighty, don't you?" I croaked out in a sarcastic tone and the tears repeatedly trailed down my face. "Well someday you'll lose the one thing that you've treasured most and then you'll regret everything you've done." "But by then, it'll be too late because it'll be all gone." I finish and get in the cab as I wipe the tears running down my cheek. ☆☆☆☆☆ Actual summary of the book inside. This is a sample novel. The full version is available on ireader and Amazon Kindle. *** I cleared my throat with more force. Harper opened one of his eyes and looked at me. He still didn't let go of her nipple. He raised an eyebrow but didn't stop thrusting. Oh God! "I, um, was j- just l- looking for some cleaning supplies." He didn't stop, instead just grabbed Maria and wrapped her legs around his waist. Okay?! Maria was still in her own bliss. I don't think she even knew that lunch period was over and she had to get to class. Leaving her nipple, he grunted and looked at me. "What the fuck are you waiting for?
