When a teenage girl from New York City, goes missing, and nobody goes looking for her, Lumi is worrying. Her lowlife mother who doesn't want her kicked her out, and now she's in Paris Texas, on a farm. She has her own room and everything. Then she finds out that a very hot guy works on the farm. His name is Jason Rodriguez, he wants to become a country singer. Her dad gets contact with her mother months after, and now she's determined to not go back to New York, she does everything her dad asks her to yet he still wants to bring her back, why? She sneaks time with Jason and they fall in love. She doesn't want to admit it, but she likes it here. She can't leave, she doesn't want to leave this little farm she's come to love and actually call home. A few months later she finds out something. She's pregnant. She tells her dad and he agrees she and the new baby would be better off living here. Lumi gets ahold of Jason and tells him the news. He doesn't believe it and won't have a part in it. Jason leaves her and their growing child, Lumi is broken, and doesn't know if she'll be able to take care of the baby that's on the way.
