In a time set in the future, cats of good and bad are reborn - and they look awfully familiar. Firestar, Sandstorm, Graystripe, Ravenpaw, Hollyleaf, Silverstream, Whitestorm, Bluestar, Yellowfang, Tigerstar, Mapleshade, Crowfeather, Leafpool, Tallstar, Thistleclaw, and Ivypool are just a few of the cats reborn. When an omen is sent of a fire striped like a tiger burning bracken, the cats must figure out what it means as Tigerclaw is slowly rising once again to take over the Clans.

What if Tigerpaw and Thistleclaw were never sent on the kittypet patrol with Bluefur? Instead, in this story, Rosetail and Thrushpelt are sent out with Bluefur. They run into young Tiny and allow him to join their clan as an apprentice. The clan never finds out about his old life, and when they do, he has to face the cats that had trusted him and tell them everything about him. Will he be strong enough to defeat all enemies?
