A few years later, Eleanor is caught up the middle of the pranking chaos that is brought on by none other than Fred and George Weasley. No student or professor is deemed safe as the twins have dedicated their fifth year to pranking everyone in the castle. So far, it's been a piece of cake until they attempt to prank Eleanor, the unsuspecting Hufflepuff. At first, they are convinced that it was a simple miscalculation but as the prank, after prank fails, something is up. Fred finds his curiosity piqued when he witnesses one of the pranks literally bounce off the girl and becomes more than determined to figure out how Eleanor is dodging their mischievous ways. For the next eleven years, Nixie is raised as a witch, however, life is far from simple. For as long as she can remember, the waters outside of her home call to her. Her father seems drawn to the waves as well, staring at them every morning as if he is waiting for someone. However, the answers start to unravel when her mother reappears and reveals herself to be a mermaid. Suddenly, the stares and whispers that Nixie has heard throughout her childhood make sense. She is a half-breed, stuck between two worlds where she feels like an outsider. To add to the chaos, Nixie receives her acceptance letter to none other than Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Determined to blend in and hopefully make some friends, Nixie attempts to hide her lineage, but she can only hide who she really is for so long. Especially when a boy by the name of Sirius Black seems so utterly determined to be part of her world. Back in their fifth year of Hogwarts, Fred and George Weasley attempted to unleash one of their pranks on the unsuspecting Hufflepuff, and when it failed, they were determined to figure out how Eleanor deflected every single one of their attempts. They discovered so much more. George discovered that knitting posed an actual threat. Fred discovered that behind the innocent knitting was a fearless badger ready to fight. Eleanor discovered that she fell in love with a boy who smelled like gunpowder and cinnamon. The war might have been over, but the adventure was far from it. [Book Three ] The war that started so long ago is finally over and it seems the wizarding world can finally be met with the peace it has deserved for quite some time. But it also means for Sirius Black and Nixie Dover, that they can actually pick up their lives where they left off before the war and carry out their dream plans. No longer plagued by mistakes and events of the past, the couple decides to move forward with their lives and starts planning to have the family they had long wished for. However, the two are well aware that life never runs as smoothly as planned. With the possibility of loose ends not being as wrapped up as they thought, the wizarding world comes under a possible threat and members of the Order are summoned once more. But the Order isn't the only ones interested in having Nixie and Sirius work for them. The war might be over, but the party is just getting started.

[Book Two] Sequel to Skinny Dipping With a Mermaid. As if losing her father and friends during the Wizarding War didn't weigh heavy enough on the heart of Nixie Dover, to lose the love of her life to imprisonment in Azkaban due to false accusations completely shattered the woman. Turning to the sea for over twelve years, Nixie prepares to spend the rest of her life among the merfolk community and her mother, until she hears a rumour through the seaweed. Sirius Black has escaped Azkaban. Determined to see if the rumours are true, Nixie ventures to the land once more only to find him but to also find the world on the brink of the Second Wizarding War. Terrified of what could occur during the second fight against the Dark Lord and his followers, Nixie is hesitant to join the fight. That is until she hears of the newest secret weapon that can not only help them win the war but stop the Dark Lord once and for all. With unfinished business to attend to with an old Hogwarts "friend" Nixie prepares herself for the final fight.
