Kiani lives a sheltered life under her mother's thumb, but dreams of exploring the world beyond her mother's flower shop. It takes an odd encounter with a man of strange abilities the opposite of her own to open her up to love, adventure, and making her dreams of leaving, a reality. This is a Hades and Persephone interpretation.
