Lance's arms were around him quick, pulling him close and lifting him up. Keith saw Lance spin him around but he couldn't feel it. He was numb. He felt like he was watching it happen from someone else's point of view. He saw how deep Lance's eyes were and how wide his smile was. Keith ran his hands through Lance's hair, trying to capture this moment forever. He couldn't stop the laugh that bubbled out of him. He was so happy, and felt so warm and numb. The moment was surreal, just him and Lance. ... Keith and Lance have been "friends" since high school, but everyone sees them more as rivals. Keith is struggling with night terrors and flashbacks to when the Galra had tortured him while he was imprisoned. The only person who has been able to keep him sane while he was on the brink of insanity is Lance. However, Lance is a little confused how to deal with Keith's neediness. {I do not own any characters or Voltron, even though I wish I did} (the art is from Marvel Pumpkin, but I edited the color)

Lance is stranded on the Earth-like planet since Blue fell into a deep abyss. The paladins realize this is a battle that won't be won and decide to leave. But as they realize the blue lion is temporarily lost, they decide to leave Keith and Red to stay with Lance and look for Blue. Maybe the rivals can learn to be friends... Or perhaps more (Sorry for the terrible description and its cheesiness. This takes place sometime in season two after they find out Keith is Galra, but kinda goes off the plot at some point.
