I was the 6th-grade "slut." And I kept a diary. So I decided to create The UnSlut Project in the hopes that my own diary entries could provide some perspective to girls who currently feel trapped and ashamed. I am publishing these entries one at a time, without changing a single word except for the names of the people involved. My limited commentary, which is confined to brackets in each entry, is meant to provide the relief of my current perspective, fifteen years later. The UnSlut Project: Working to undo the dangerous slut shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture by sharing knowledge and experiences.

Humankind has abandoned Earth, leaving behind the devastation of all-out nuclear war and Mutants. The Mutants have a purpose: to preserve humanity and restore the Earth to its former glory. After a century of rest, they will wake, rebuild, and await the return of humankind--that is, if they survive the perils of space, but this is not their story. This is the story of a Mutant that wakes up fifty-three years too early, setting foot onto a feral Earth with still-festering wounds from the war. They remember nothing, and know only what the inked tattoo on their wrist reads: Mutant 74 --- REWRITTEN Past Life Achievements: #1 Hot in Sci-Fi Highest rank in Sci-Fi: #5 (Thank you readers!) Available on Kindle and Paperback now! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07D1CZKSY After nineteen years as a prisoner to the Stonerow curse, fate owes Lady Maud a cursebreaker... and delivers a Knight on a covert mission to win his Prince's war, Sir Favior Elwyk. Surely it shouldn't be so difficult to accept happily ever after? This Wattpad edition is a sample of the first 10%. My interepretation of the loathly lady fairytale, a feminine counterpart to beauty and the beast! A warning: this retelling contains some dark themes ~~An Excerpt From Chapter 12~~ I could tell he meant to say something, so I held onto my cooling supper and waited patiently for it. Finally, after a long while, he found the words; 'I knew I would marry eventually. And, most probably, for the sake of alliance to our cause.' He stopped contemplating the fold of cloth in his hand and looked directly at me; 'My lady, I have not been properly gracious. Your hand is an honour to hold.' I had not expected an apology or anything but grudging acceptance up to our marriage and beyond it. I actually blushed. 'Thank you, sir.' He nodded. He was still stiff and his retreat to proper formality was far too late after all I had already seen of him. I never cared what man might free me from my curse but I knew that I should be so glad it was Favior. I liked him already. We could do well together - if he would only allow it. I searched for the words to express that; 'Favior, I should tell you, about the curse-' 'Maud,' he interrupted. 'Please, I do not wish to talk of the curse anymore.' His tone was low and fierce, a shock. 'Can we not put it behind us?' he asked.
