Gaster the royal scientist dark reality, you've seen the boys. You THINK you know there backstory. It's time for a harsh truth about Sans and Papyrus you never thought you would hear This story is based around my friends theory that Sans and Papyrus in a sense where 'made' by Gaster.

After falling down Mt.Ebbot, you find yourself in Snowdin, a small town in the UNDERGROUND where two skeleton brothers live, Sans and Papyrus. These brothers are vary quirky, one being a Spaghetti-fanatic with a dream to be in the Royal gaurd, and the other a calm, laidback enigma who can't stop cracking puns. But, what happens when you get closer to the brothers? Characters belong to Toby Fox. very mild spoilers for the first part of Undertakes Pacifist run. (everything from The date with papyrus and behind)

This... Is why he likes you so much in it. It will spoil parts of the story No More Bonely Nights. It explains just why Sans likes you, and just why he's actually trying to court you. It's not all from one timeline, you know. Also, in the second chapter, it marks a rotation in perspective, and It's Sans' point of view instead of your own. He has to change the timeline. He can't see you die again. Over and over... He has to stop it.

You're in a world post-game of Undertale. Monsters were flooding up from the Underground, and no one was quite sure what to do with them. Most people knew of them, and expected it eventually. It was hard to get used to seeing these... People, you guess, but it became normal after the first month or so. They started getting jobs around, buying houses with their currency (which was Gold, and due to inflation of the new paper currency it was worth insanely more than normal money) and most of them were well off with their now nice lifestyles of upper middle class monsters. You're a simple girl, very short (barely under five feet), with a curvy figure and just over shoulder-length dark brown hair. You have a stupid job and a horrible college budget that made life kind of hard to do alone in your three-room apartment, which was the only thing close enough to the campus to get. It was meant for two people and a guest, but you had no one to move in with you. So, you put out a Cruggs' list ad asking for at least one roommate, maybe two. One person answered. Two monsters stepped into your life, and you have no clue how important these brothers were going to be to you- How important the always-smiling, pun-shooting monster was going to be to you. (Majority of the characters you're introduced to belong to Undertale. Writing by me, your character loosely based off myself, but only physically [height, gender, body type and size in general], the mental personification is just whatever happens.)

You weren't quite sure what you were. As time progressed, you had been called many things. Hope, future, a new beginning. You weren't quite sure why they called you those things, for each passing day you say locked in a cell, waiting for the freedom that would never come. You weren't alone. You grew fond of two other experiments whom you nicknamed Sans and Papyrus. The routines seemed to grow normal, coma-induced trances, painful tests... And then nothing... One day, the pain stops coming. Slowly, the three of you venture outside of the prison and discover that there is a world beyond the cell.
