"Optimists may say that everyone has the chance to change, no matter how bad things may seem. This is true, but only when the person themselves has a desire to change and a desire to be forgiven. In place of both of these redeeming traits, John had only a desire for more alcohol."
An alcoholic. A horrible father. A Scrooge. Even the most optimistic person just couldn't see John Wronski as a good man. He spends everyday drinking his life away in a godforsaken bar to the tune of a haunting train whistle that has locals strangely frightened. John has no intention of turning his life around, but this train has other ideas. This is no Dickens story, and John will not be shown to the light gently. There are some hearts so frozen that they cannot be thawed by hot chocolate and Christmas cheer. This is just reality.
A/N: This is a work in progress. Just a random idea, and I need to see if you all are interested in it. If not, then I will continue it on my own time outside of Wattpad. Thank you!
