Lauren is a nerd. Camila is the school's quarterback. Lauren has had a crush on Camila since the day she saw her in English. Now she goes to the school's biggest football game of the year with her best friend Ally for support dressed in a whole new wardrobe in order to impress the quarterback and hopefully, ask her out on a date.

(Lauren's POV, but not really said so.) Falling in love with someone, who didn't know you was tragic. Watching them in little spots, summoning the courage to speak to them. Wondering, if you actually did. I was too late. She was swooped of her feet. I was too late. I knew it would never happen, I was hopeless. But, those sunflowers were like pieces of my heart, and those notes were a glimpse of my head, and not a single day passed by, do my feelings lessen for her. (Sad, I'm sorry.)
