Do we ever really consider the consequences of our actions? How one seemingly simple decision can influence the lives of thousands, even millions, of others. How failure to act can shift the balance of power dramatically in the "wrong" direction. Perhaps through the eyes of those involved we can answer these questions. Perhaps if we take the time to live through the experiences of those involved in the Ghizai War we might better comprehend why the factions of the Perseus Arm interact they way they do. This is an original work heavily inspired by my work as a GM and a fan of many actual play podcasts, most notably Friends At the Table. Any similarity between characters is coincidental, while the plot and universe are deeply influenced by the work of Austin Walker (@austin_walker).

This is a work of fanfiction based in the Fire Emblem universe, specifically the Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn titles, which took place on the continent of Tellius. These titles do have racial themes in them (regarding the game's races), which I will be including in various parts of the story. You have been warned. The story will follow a group of original characters, with a Branded leader that form a smaller band of mercenaries than Ike's and their information will be posted in a later update.
