Starling, a young male SkyWing, has grown up as an only dragonet, alone besides his mother. Starling's mother, Sparrow, was a very secretive dragon, and whenever he tried to ask about his father, she either ignored him or changes the subject. Starling has never known another way of life besides the single-handed lonely parenting his mother used, and soon finds out in training school that it's not normal to only have one parent. Starling's best friend, Lucite, is different too, she has strange black markings on her talons, tail, wings, and snout, and she too has never known her father. Together, Starling and Lucite grow curious about their past, and what their mothers could possibly be hiding. Another curious possibly clue is that Starling wears a neckband, made of silver and laced gold to show his mother's wealth, but the curious thing about this was; no matter how hard he tried, Starling couldn't take it off. Lucite comes to a conclusion that this might be connected to his father, and if they find out how to take it off, they might have a chance at finding the truth...

It was just a normal day in her kingdom when Glory fell down ill. Having to leave the forest and get locked up in her dragonet-hood cave. Glory and Deathbringer start to realise that the emotions they had for each other, are more than a small friendship. Being trapped with someone can cause a riot of emotions, especially if they were already simmering under the surface, being ill only makes this happen quicker. What happens when two dragons who feel for each other are stronger than the sun, are stuck in a cave with each other, on their own? But she clearly did NOT expect for his mother, who was supposed to be dead according to Deathbringer, to come strolling into the rainforest wanting to take Deathbringer away. Now, their relationship is at stake. New family members and life changing situations are rushing into the rainforest like there's no tomorrow, and there is nothing Glorybringer can do about it. Will Glory and Deathbringer's love survive what life throws at them, or will it crumble to dust like so many others in the past? The main characters do not belong to me. This is simply a fanfic.
