Follow Sonic, a Black Arms Submissive as he travels to the mating grounds of his kind. There, he will meet both old and new faces and also fall in love. His life afterwards is not an easy one and has plenty of obstacles along the way, especially with hunters always on the prowl. But at least he has his mate and Dominant, Shadow, along the way.

Shadow dies leaving a cobalt hedgehog heartbroken. Someone takes advantage of the Azure hedgehog's sadness and makes him go insane. What happens when Shadow mysteriously comes back and ends up seeing a resistance against Sonic. How will either of them feel once seeing each other? Will their love for each other burn away or grow stronger? Can/will Shadow help save Sonic from himself? And what is this?! Specimens?!
