It was a calm, quiet night, and Asriel, the King of the monsters, was taking a stroll on the dirt path, through the woods. It was enjoyable...until he heard the cries of a child. He follows the sounds of the cries and finds a dying woman with a small infant. (You of course.) Your mother is human but you're something more.

"It hurts," he mumbled, trembling slightly with fear and anger. "It hurts Chara, to know that nothing matters because all that's going to happen is death." Sans raised a bony hand, levitating the young girl into the air. "So I'm going to change that." Sans continued, bones stabbing themselves into the girl's already weak body. "I'm going to kill you, permanently!" Sans used to love, he used to care. But now.. Now he was a shadow of the person he used to be, an empty shell. Y/N used to be ever so empty. She used to think that life was completely pointless. You were going to die anyway, right? But now.. Now she was so ever determined.
