"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry!" My face burned from the embarrassment of tripping over flat ground, and falling on top of a complete stranger, smashing my lips against his in the process. "No problem at all. It was the best kiss I've ever had," He smiled back at me, his beautiful eyes crinkling kindly. * * * Eighteen-year-old Sawyer Adams is too tall, lanky and awkward - the reason why she never gets asked out by boys her age and can't seem to fit in. That is, until she fell over and kissed a stranger in Barnes and Noble.

We've all watched about a million Romantic Comedies where the boy breaks up with his girlfriend because he realizes he's in love with someone else, the "right" girl. And when this finally happens, we're all really happy about it. They immediately set off together, paying no mind to the fact that the boy was in a different relationship, I don't know, about five seconds ago. The person we never think about is the ex-girlfriend, the "wrong" girl. And why not? It hardly seems fair, once you think about it. She's the one always being dumped, or left at the alter, or publicly humiliated. But no one even spares her a second thought, because she was just in the way the whole time. She kept the right girl away from the boy for so long. And of course, we were all rooting for the right girl, who wouldn't be? Serena Briggs was just as guilty of this as everyone else is, until her boyfriend Brayden dumped her for his best friend in front of half the school. Then she became the real life wrong girl.

[Previously called The Day Planner.] "I was stuck, with nowhere to turn. This isn’t a sob story, nor is it romance. This isn’t even a Cinderella story because in actual fact, this is just me, Lexi, a girl with blue highlights, who likes writing things in her day planner which leads to a huge and horrible encounter with an idiot. There is no glass slipper, fairy godmother, or even a Prince. This is simply a very detailed biography on how I fell in love with someone I never thought I could fall in love with ... Okay so maybe it is a romance." When Lexi Porter’s adoptive father, Cal, dies Lexi is forced to live her life like Cinderella. She does odd jobs and chores. Lexi takes it because they're the only family she's ever known and doesn't want to jeopardize what she has with them. On an unusually warm November night, Lexi happens to literally bump into the school player, Shane Lawrence. Shane Lawrence is someone Lexi says she hates. But things change, when pranks are played, secrets are unfolded, and stories are told. Tears are shed, hearts are broken, and regrets occur. Lexi doesn't realize what she's gotten herself into until it’s too late. *Adaptation of Cinderella - not exact story line *Profanity Alert - Another reason it's mature (smh -.-)

"They stretch and stretch, two ends being held until one falters and snaps. And as expected, one end suffers a little bit of a sting." "So you like rubber bands?" "I guess, they aren't exactly significant." "Well I just thought since-" "They don't mean anything." *** Dakota Brooks was that girl at school that everybody knew, yet nobody knew at all. They knew of her name, the name that was titled for being the class secretary. She wasn't popular and she wasn't a nobody, Dakota was just there and she was fine with that. A.J. Fischer could be referred to as a nobody. His daily schedule consisted of waking up, going to school, and coming home to his laptop. In school he had minimal friends but was disregarded due to his quiet nature and rather blank stare. Really AJ was nothing more than a mind in an empty body. So with a rather strange clash of their worlds, Dakota and AJ find themselves sat in the middle of Chemistry with nothing more than one rubber band in front of them. And isn't it funny to think that something so small would make such a massive change in their lives?
