(Originally named Wild Life) In this story, John was a pet of humans but did not enjoy that life very much. He takes his friend Lafayette into the forest to live there. They meet another group of cats and they are glad they have a group to live with. Yet, peace never lasts long in the forest.

John Laurens: A boy who has lived in South Carolina until he was ten. Homeschool until his senior year of high school. He was finally being enrolled at King's College after attending NYU for a year. He was never very social and only had a few friends. Not to mention he was gay. Alexander Hamilton: Orphan and Carribean immigrant. His father left at 10, his mom died at 12, and his cousin committed suicide at 17. He was on his own. Never went to school until he started his Sophomore year at King's College. For these two boys.
