In Unforeseen, Mae is an under-cover marine searching for an island to call home for her and her adopted brother Viske. Her search is put on hold though when Viske makes friends with the notorious Straw Hat Pirates and is caught. To keep Viske from persecution, Mae accepts a mission to join the Straw Hat Pirates and spy on them.
