Tom gets eye cancer and cant see. He works for the red leader. Tord can't have blind soldiers. He has some of medical staff work on creating goggles so tom can see. Tom isn't like the other soldiers Tord knows him personally and even though they don't always get along Tord cares very much about Tom.

After the incident with Tord's giant robot, the harpoon hit Tord in the chest. He tries his best to survive, but failed. He wanted to at least apologize to his friends. TomxTord After the incident with Tord, Tom realizes just how much he misses him. But when Tord comes back to apologize, he starts acting strangely. I hate this book so much. It's absolute garbage.

Tord has been taken from his abusive mother. Hes been put into an orphanage and doesn't know that much english, which makes it hard for him. He doesn't talk much to anyone except a boy named Tom, who also lives at the orphanage since his parents were both killed. Tord talks so little, that even when they grow up to be in high school, he still can't talk well and has an accent, even though he has lived in Britain for 12 years. He's also been given the name "Mute" since nobody ever heard him talk. At one point, he is forced to talk, and things only get worse.

It's been 16 years since Tom's fateful decision. Tika is in the care of the Rebellion Base with her two favorite, awesome uncles. She grew up not knowing who her real parents are and her uncles were quick to change the topic every time she brought it up. Even the soldiers around the base knew but wouldn't tell her their names. They only spoke well about one of her parents while they seem annoyed with her other one. The only thing she looks forward to is the blue letters that are sent to the base from her mother. She learns a few things about the rest of her family through them, yet they don't give names. Tika knows she had two older brothers who she's been dying to meet too. She just wants to know more about her family She wants to see them She wants to hear her mother's voice again When she finally comes back to her family, she's in for an adventure.
