Maddox knew he couldn't tell the truth. He couldn't tell people he could light fires with his mind, or dragons flocked to him, or the glow of the moon seemed to hurt his skin. It was simply easier to hide behind the lies, that is, until a strange figure invited him to the hidden world of Moonshadowers. Maddox began to feel as if his flaws were welcome in their strange city, despite the growing unrest and the presence of mysterious soldiers called 'The Guard'. With a rebellious moonshadower named Robin and her secretive brother Kat, Maddox begins to uncover the secrets of the moonshadower's city, centuries of a brutal war, and the powers he didn't know he possessed, all while trying to preserve his own deep web of lies. Violet was a deadly soldier, designed to be a monster of chaos and destroy all danger in her wake. As a member of The mysterious Guard, she spends her life protecting hidden moonshadower cities from the dangers of the outside world, which was fairly easy since the outside world didn't know they existed. But when Camelot is destroyed by a rival city and her friend Em is accused of treachery, Violet discovers just how much of a monster she was designed to be. Kate and Joseph knew one thing for sure; there were secrets far deadlier than the epidemic. Max knew one thing for sure; he was supposed to be dead two years ago. Nina knew one thing for sure; the royals couldn't be trusted. When Princess Kate and Prince Joseph were forced to leave the safety of their castle, they were faced with an ever growing number of problems. A virus, infamously known as the Spider-Virus, was lethal. Within days of contact, the host would be at the hands of death. However, the epidemic would soon be the least of their problems. Or maybe, it was just the beginning. _____________ MILESTONES First started writing: March 3, 2017 Finished first draft: February 18, 2022 Finished final draft: IN PROGRESS

"They become like us, but beautiful. Dangerously beautiful. Oh yes. And they can make the sky do their bidding. They cast spells with their music that can take away your willpower. And their hair . . . is the color of blood." *** There's a legend in the Amazon that tells of attractive and dangerous shapeshifters known as Encantados. When Sofia Aguilar meets one in the flesh, her life is turned completely upside down. Can she reunite a legendary shapeshifter with his past without losing touch with her own reality? *** "We call them . . . Encantado." I've been reviewing stories on Wattpad for a while now and, boy, has that been a journey. Your stories have made me gasp and squeal. Your stories have made me laugh and cry. But, from time to time, your stories have made me cringe. In commemoration of my review store hitting 100 reviews, I thought it was about time to break down my reviewing journey, with the help of a fellow reviewer, @awesomeSTG. This book will contain chapters regarding the common errors I see in stories, it will offer tips on how to make your story professional, and there will also be some sneaky rants about what people expect from a reviewer. Welcome to 101 Writing Tips from an Exhausted Reviewer, featuring two very exhausted reviewers: @ray_of_sunshine9 and @awesomeSTG. Or, as perfectly said by @awesomeSTG: Ladies and gentlemen, folks far and wide! Sharpen your quills, prepare your scrolls, and polish your fire-resistant armours, for we shall finally cool off your burning queries - or scorch you even more - with our word of wisdom (namely rants) and advice! Hear ye, hear ye! And the incredible cover is done by the very talented @g_beckford - thank you so much!
