On a S-Class Mission team Natsu betrayed Lucy leaving her to die. The dark wizard they were fighting captured her and kept her locked up for 3 years. There he tortured, experimented on, and starved her. She finally escaped. She wandered aimlessly around, living on the streets with no money for food and no one to help her. She found a strip/ night club where she got a job as a full time performer so she could generate some income. One night Natsu, Gray, Elfman, Laxus, Jellal, and Gajeel, to celebrate the 4th anniversary of Lucy's 'death', had gone to the best strip club in Fiore, CandyShop, without their girlfriends knowledge. They expected to see some hot girls but they didn't expect to see......her. Once news spread around the Fairy Tail guild that Lucy was alive they set out to destroy her. They failed not knowing how strong she had gotten. The dark wizard who captured her loved to experiment so to say and when he experimented with her he took her golden celestial spirit keys and melted them. Then he put them in her blood stream giving her the ability of her spirits and the ability to go back and fourth between the Celestial World and Earthland. When Fairy Tail fought her she had escaped barley with her life and somehow landed on the doorstep of fairy tails biggest rival guild......Sabertooth. She became a member and vowed revenge on Fairy Tail. Not the 'your dead' revenge. She decided the perfect place for her to defeat them too. The Grand Magic Games.
