That Agency called the 'Guys in White' to the public, are widely known for their involvement in several incidents in Amity Park and their less-than-legal conduct. Batman takes the opportunity to investigate Project: Cadmus after his partner, Robin, and his friends expose it for unethical experiments and illegal research. Deep under the collapsed building, a boy was staring at the heavy metal door they tossed him behind once alarms had sounded throughout the labs. Fear-filled green eyes began to glow with hope. The boy found himself praying to who over would listen that whatever had shaken the building would return, and provide him with a chance to escape. A chance to get out of the power-draining unit, a chance to see the night sky once more, a chance to live again. This is a rewrite of A Chance To Trust, in progress. Little Danny Fenton got his powers at a remarkably young age at the cost of his family, the GIW get him soon after. A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor. [EDITED DESCRIPTION] Danny was taken by the GIW a year after he got his powers and was held captive, and experimented on for 2 years before he managed to escape and fled to Gotham. Now he has been free for a few weeks and has been living on the streets while hiding from the GIW and a certain teenage team that has been sent to find the "weapon" that the GIW lost. How will this pan out, will Danny become a friend or will he always be seen as a threat to society? Sorry its my first story so its gonna suck and probably not make a lot of sense since I have no clue where I am going with this. Sorry if this story sucks and feedback is welcomed, swearing is not. Welcome to my (a bit pathetic) attempt to make a Danny Phantom Crossover with Batman! I've always wanted to make a a crossover but I always thought I would make it terribly. So this is my attempt to do so. It is still utterly terrible. The story's all over the place, it's actually pretty pathetic tbh.
