"But I want you to understand that it is my job to restore the happiness you lost. I am your husband now, Afrah. And it is my responsibility to make you happy. So that is my mission from now until the end of time." Afrah stared down at her hands, feeling as though her soul was being wrenched from her body. She couldn't look him in the eye. I quickly spun around but luck wasn't on my side as I doubled over. I was about to fall but someone caught me . A loud gasp escaped my mouth, opening my eyes, it went wide open as I look at the intruder, he's the same guy from last night. I stare at the pair of his brown eyes looking down at me. What is he doing here? " Are you always this clumsy?" he asked, in a stoic tone. At that moment I realized that his strong muscular arms are tightened around me. His gaze were glued to mine. " put me down" I whispered shakily. "As you wish". And just like that he dropped me and I landed on the floor with a thud. " Ouch" I cried out in pain. I could feel his eyes burning into my head, I glance at him , Yet he flashed me with a smirk, I was furious at him, "can't he drop me like a gentleman?" I whispered while rolling my eyes "You got a problem? Maybe I should glue your eyes in place to keep them from rolling around that empty space inside your head". he said through clenched jaw. " You are so rude" I blurted out, still rolling my eyes, I guess by the way he responded he isn't a fan of it. (Eye roll). "Keep rolling your eyes, maybe will find a brain back there". " There is no need to repeat yourself. I ignored you just fine the first time". I said while looking at him. ******** Sometimes bad things happen in life not because we want that to happen but because it's destined to happen.
