I pointed a shaky finger at the demon in the front seat of the car, "Why is he in your car?" "Marcus' car can only fit so many people Duckie." I stomped a foot like a child. "But he scares me!" Maddox shrugged, opening the driver's door, "Tough shit, kiddo." ... WARNING: lots of potty mouth On Maia's seventh birthday, her life took a complete 180. She went from living with her hardworking lawyer mother to living with three boys-the father she always dreamed of having and two older brothers who treat her like a porcelain doll. Being the first and only girl in the house, she was treated like royalty. Her father adored her more than anyone and gave her anything she could ever want and more, and her brothers coddled her and treated her like glass, acting as if she would break with even the softest touch. Now Maia-better known as Duckie-is eighteen and about to face one of the most exciting moments of her life: college. Stepping out into the world of co-ed, Duckie wants to experience her college life to the fullest, but that can be a little hard to do when you have two overprotective brothers along with their eight just as protective friends attending the same university. This is my own story, any similarities to real people, places, or events is coincidental. Cover art is not mine, all credit to original artist(s).

Monroe Lovie. A seventeen-year-old boy who lives with an overprotective mother, an abusive and power-hungry stepfather, and a stepbrother who wishes to be more than brothers. Roe has lived with this twisted group of people that called themselves "family", forced to hide from the rest of the world in the most inconspicuous way possible. Sure, he still attends public school and goes out maybe once a month, but once he steps foot in the prison he calls a home, he is locked in his cell in order to hide the skeletons that are piled high within this "happy home". The biggest skeleton of all? He is actually a she. When Roe's family moves into The Village of Four Seasons in the Ozarks, she runs into a group of boys that are more bizarre, yet more caring than the people she is forced to call family. She wants to know the feeling of friendship, the feeling of youth, the feeling of love, and she thinks that these boys can give that to her. But is she willing to sacrifice herself to the wrath of her reality in order to know this group of people, so different from what she knows? And what will happen if they find out the truth? This is a fanfiction based on The Academy series written by C.L. Stone. The original idea of The Academy does NOT belong to me, I am only borrowing it to create a new story with original characters. Cover art is not mine, all credit to original artist(s). (I tried so hard to find the artist too you would not believe) ***PLEASE READ WITH CAUTION: This story does involve many triggering events and topics, so please read with caution. Bold headings will be put at the beginning and end of any in depth moments and may be skipped for your comfort.
