We all know how the story goes... Mon El gets lost in space and returns with a wife leaving Kara devestated. But what if the story changed? In this story, the script is reversed. This time, after Mon El leaves, Kara moves on. When he comes back, he is waiting to find Kara, just to learn she is engaged to someone else.

After Kara receives terrible news about a death a few months before, she thinks all is lost until one dream that changes everything I do not own karamel or supergirl creds go dc comics. The storyline is mine though

Mon-El is in danger, Kara needs to save him. They encounter more troubles trying to come back to each other then they plan on but isn't that life for you? They'll gain friendships and strengthen others. Who knows what Kara will do to save the man she loves? Maybe she herself will get into more danger to just find him.

"Riley still loves Lucas." Lucas and Charlie stared at Farkle then at Riley. "What?" Lucas couldn't believe what Farkle just said. Maya walked to Riley. She grabbed Riley's hand gently. "Bay window?" Maya smiled. Riley looked into her eyes and nodded.

What if Kara knew Mon-El before he landed on earth? How would things be different between them and would it effect their relationship? (Ps. I know someone has already written a story like this and it's great, it's my inspiration for my story, just so everyone knows I'm not trying to copy anyone's work, once again I just loved the plot!)

This story follows Supergirl canon with a few changes. Any changes I make will be indicated in an A/N. The prologue explains more. Do not skip the prologue because there is a lot of information written there that is necessary to understand the story line. For now, our story begins at episode 2x01 and I will add in the full opening scene when I get an opportunity. I just want to get the story caught up with the show but it will still not be exactly like the show
